Everything you need to know before submitting your manuscript
Submission Process
Create Account / Sign In
If you're new to Journal of Sustainable Digital Transformation in Management, you'll need to create an author account. Existing authors can sign in to access their dashboard and manage submissions.
Fill Metadata Form
Complete the submission form with all required information:
- Article title
- Abstract (150-300 words)
- Keywords (5-8 keywords)
- Article type (Research Article, Review, Case Study, etc.)
- Subject area
Upload Manuscript PDF
Upload your manuscript in PDF format. Ensure the file follows our formatting guidelines and is properly anonymized for peer review.
Add Co-Authors
Add all co-authors with their full names, affiliations, and email addresses. Ensure the order of authors is correct as it cannot be changed after submission.
Accept Copyright Agreement
Review and accept the copyright agreement. By submitting, you confirm that the manuscript is original, has not been published elsewhere, and all authors have agreed to the submission.
Formatting Rules
Author Guidelines
Manuscripts must be original, unpublished works in English, with a clear contribution to sustainable digital transformation in management. Use structured abstracts (Background, Methods, Results, Conclusions; max 250 words), 5-8 keywords, and IMRaD structure for research articles (up to 8,000 words excluding references). Employ APA 7th edition for citations and references; ensure inclusive language and ethical reporting. Include funding acknowledgments and data availability statements. Articles undergo plagiarism checks (via Turnitin; <15% similarity allowed). Prepare files for direct upload in the EMANP login system
Submission Requirements
- Research articles: 6,000-8,000 words; reviews: 5,000-7,000 words; viewpoints/cases: 3,000-5,000 words.
- Single-column, double-spaced, 12-pt Times New Roman font, 2.5 cm margins.
- Title: Concise (max 15 words); structured abstract and keywords mandatory.
- Figures/tables: High-resolution (300 dpi), numbered, with captions; max 8 per article (separate PNG/PDF files).
- References: 40-60, mostly recent (post-2018), from Scopus/Web of Science sources.
- ORCID iD required for corresponding author
Citation Guidelines
All references should follow a consistent citation style. We recommend using APA, MLA, or Chicago style. Ensure all in-text citations have corresponding entries in the references section.

Policies
Competing Interest Statement
Authors must disclose any financial or non-financial interests that could influence the work, including funding sources, employment, consultancies, stock ownership, patents, or personal relationships influencing bias. If none exist, state: "The authors declare no competing interests." Upload this as a separate PDF during login submission; it will be published with the article. Non-disclosure leads to rejection. JSDTM follows ICMJE and COPE definitions for transparency, as required by Scopus
Copyright Agreement
Upon acceptance, upload the signed non-exclusive license via the EMANP login system (as PDF): Authors retain copyright and grant JSDTM/EMANP rights to publish, index, distribute, and archive the article openly under CC BY 4.0. Authors warrant originality, no third-party rights infringement, and permission for reused content. No transfer of copyright occurs, preserving author reuse rights while enabling dissemination via https://emanp.org/journals.
